This artwork by Gajin Fujita achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in February 2007. In the First Open Post-War and Contemporary Art auction, the work Bliss sold for USD 21,600.00 (€ 16,326.53) - well above the upper estimate of USD 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gajin Fujita have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Gold State Warriors in May 2010 with an auction result of USD 104,500.00 (€ 84,485.41).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gajin Fujita erzielte im Februar 2007 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion First Open Post-War and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Bliss für USD 21.600,00 (€ 16.326,53) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 10.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gajin Fujita auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Gold State Warriors im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 104.500,00 (€ 84.485,41).
