Auction result well in line with expectations
The work One plate, from Lithographe II by Joan Miró was auctioned at Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts in September this year. The price achieved of GBP 1,792.00 (€ 1,792.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joan Miró achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peinture (Étoile Bleue) in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 23,561,250.00 (€ 29,174,436.97).

Die Arbeit One plate, from Lithographe II von Joan Miró kam im September diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.792,00 (€ 1.792,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joan Miró erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Peinture (Étoile Bleue) im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.561.250,00 (€ 29.174.436,97).
