Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2007 Christies in London held the auction Post War & Contemporary Art, which included this untitled work by José Manuel Broto. The price achieved of GBP 10,200.00 (€ 14,934.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by José Manuel Broto - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work B, which sold at auction in October 2005 for EUR 38,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von José Manuel Broto zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.200,00 (€ 14.934,11) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von José Manuel Broto mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit B beobachtet, die im Oktober 2005 für EUR 38.400,00 versteigert wurde.
