Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Julian Opie achieved an unexpectedly high price at Koller in June last year. In the Grafik & Multiples auction, the work Woman Taking Off Man's Shirt In Five Stages. 2004. sold for CHF 18,600.00 (€ 18,603.55) - well above the upper estimate of CHF 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Julian Opie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Walking in London in the rain in June last year with an auction result of CHF 189,000.00 (€ 189,036.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Julian Opie erzielte im Juni letzten Jahres bei Koller einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Grafik & Multiples wurde die Arbeit Woman Taking Off Man's Shirt In Five Stages. 2004. für CHF 18.600,00 (€ 18.603,55) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von CHF 9.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Julian Opie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Walking in London in the rain im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 189.000,00 (€ 189.036,11).
