Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Keith Haring was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Morning Session auction at Phillips in New York in May this year. The »bidding war« ended at USD 952,500.00 (€ 894,030.41), 19% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Keith Haring have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 6,537,500.00 (€ 5,818,351.73).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Keith Haring wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Morning Session bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 952.500,00 (€ 894.030,41) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Keith Haring auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.537.500,00 (€ 5.818.351,73).
