Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Wolf Girl, from the Blue Prints series by Kiki Smith was sold in the Evening & Day Editions auction at Phillips in New York in October 2013. The result of USD 2,000.00 (€ 1,471.24) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kiki Smith achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2005 with an auction result of USD 284,800.00 (€ 241,560.64).

Die Arbeit Wolf Girl, from the Blue Prints series von Kiki Smith wurde im Oktober 2013 in der Auktion Evening & Day Editions bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 2.000,00 (€ 1.471,24) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kiki Smith erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 284.800,00 (€ 241.560,64).
