The complete suite, comprising 8 lithographs in colors on Arches paper, each signed in pencil and numbered 5/200 (there were also 50 artist's proofs), with title page, colophon also numbered '5' and table of contents, published/printed by Raymond & Raymond, Inc. and Circle Gallery, Ltd./Mourlot, Paris, with full margins, contained in original beige linen portfolio.

Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tom Sawyer Suite by Norman Rockwell was auctioned at Bonhams in January this year. It changed hands for a price of USD 5,737.50 (€ 5,284.12) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Norman Rockwell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Saying Grace in December 2013 with an auction result of USD 46,085,000.00 (€ 33,445,823.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Tom Sawyer Suite von Norman Rockwell kam im Januar diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 5.737,50 (€ 5.284,12) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Norman Rockwell erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Saying Grace im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 46.085.000,00 (€ 33.445.823,35).
