Auction result misses estimated price range
In November this year a collector was able to acquire the work Le Juré by Odilon Redon for USD 2,520.00 (€ 2,310.23). This price was achieved in the auction Graphic Century at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Odilon Redon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Pavot Noir in October last year with an auction result of USD 3,780,000.00 (€ 3,805,113.75).
