Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tigre au repos by Paul Jouve was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in April last year. It changed hands for a price of USD 6,930.00 (€ 6,576.82) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Jouve achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Panthère Noire Combattant Un Python, Vers 1930 in June 2006 with an auction result of EUR 168,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Tigre au repos von Paul Jouve kam im April letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 6.930,00 (€ 6.576,82) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Jouve erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Panthère Noire Combattant Un Python, Vers 1930 im Juni 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 168.000,00.
