Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Beauty Mark by Rob Pruitt was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2020. The price achieved of USD 37,500.00 (€ 34,001.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Rob Pruitt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 6:20Pm, Late Summer in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 315,000.00 (€ 242,531.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Beauty Mark von Rob Pruitt wurde im März 2020 in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 34.001,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rob Pruitt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 6:20Pm, Late Summer im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 315.000,00 (€ 242.531,57).
