The work Revel by Ron Gorchov was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2020. The »bidding war« ended at USD 68,750.00 (€ 62,335.66), 72% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ron Gorchov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work General, which sold at auction in June this year for GBP 152,800.00 (€ 177,832.89).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 68.750,00 (€ 62.335,66) und damit 72% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Ron Gorchov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit General beobachtet, die im Juni diesen Jahres für GBP 152.800,00 (€ 177.832,89) versteigert wurde.
