Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cube, Cube 2, Cosmos: Three Prints by Takashi Murakami was auctioned at Christies in New York in March this year. It changed hands for a price of USD 2,772.00 (€ 2,549.67) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Takashi Murakami achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work My Lonesome Cowboy in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 15,161,000.00 (€ 9,743,573.26).
