Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Branching Line by Tony Cragg was sold in the Contemporary Edition: New York: Featuring the Collection of Kenwal Steel in Support of GLAAD auction at Christies in New York in March this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 882.00 (€ 811.26). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tony Cragg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Constant Change in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 849,062.00 (€ 984,851.03).
