In September 2000 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction THE DUTCH INTERIOR, which included the work Putti and nymphs making an offering to Minerva - a chimney piece - en grisaille by Abraham van Strij. The »bidding war« ended at NLG 64,361.00 (€ 29,664.18), 29% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Abraham van Strij - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work An interior with a child seated in a high chair teasing a dog, a servant washing by the window behind her, which sold at auction in November 2003 for EUR 59,750.00.

Im September 2000 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion THE DUTCH INTERIOR durch, in der auch die Arbeit Putti and nymphs making an offering to Minerva - a chimney piece - en grisaille von Abraham van Strij zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von NLG 64.361,00 (€ 29.664,18) und damit 29% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
