The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 20,825.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Adolf Luther have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Struktur Für Licht (Licht Und Materie) in February 2010 with an auction result of GBP 121,250.00 (€ 135,265.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ohne Titel (Sphärisches Objekt). von Adolf Luther kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei VAN HAM zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 20.825,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Adolf Luther auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Struktur Für Licht (Licht Und Materie) im Februar 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 121.250,00 (€ 135.265,65).
