Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Surge by Alexander Liberman was sold in the Important Prints & Multiples Including Property from the Collection of Catherine Woodard and Nelson Blitz, Jr. auction at Sothebys in New York in October 2017. Here, the upper estimate of USD 3,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 4,000.00 (€ 3,434.07). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alexander Liberman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Solstice Vii in March 2017 with an auction result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 37,390.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Surge von Alexander Liberman wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion Important Prints & Multiples Including Property from the Collection of Catherine Woodard and Nelson Blitz, Jr. bei Sothebys in New York versteigert.
