Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fish by Andy Warhol was sold in the Prints & MultiplesSummer Splash auction at Bonhams in New York in August this year. It changed hands for a price of USD 17,920.00 (€ 16,532.89) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andy Warhol achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shot Sage Blue Marilyn in May last year with an auction result of USD 195,040,000.00 (€ 181,753,797.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Fish von Andy Warhol wurde im August diesen Jahres in der Auktion Prints & MultiplesSummer Splash bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 17.920,00 (€ 16.532,89) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Andy Warhol erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Shot Sage Blue Marilyn im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 195.040.000,00 (€ 181.753.797,41).
