Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Andy Warhol could be acquired at Bonhams in New York in August this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Prints & MultiplesSummer Splash auction, the work Salade de Alf Landon, from Wild Raspberries changed hands for USD 2,880.00 (€ 2,657.07) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andy Warhol achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shot Sage Blue Marilyn in May last year with an auction result of USD 195,040,000.00 (€ 181,753,797.41).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Andy Warhol konnte im August diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Prints & MultiplesSummer Splash wechselte die Arbeit Salade de Alf Landon, from Wild Raspberries für USD 2.880,00 (€ 2.657,07) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Andy Warhol erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Shot Sage Blue Marilyn im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 195.040.000,00 (€ 181.753.797,41).
