This work without title by Dan Rees was auctioned at Christies in New York in February 2019. The result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,788.12) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dan Rees achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Artex Painting in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 233,000.00 (€ 187,329.15).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Dan Rees kam im Februar 2019 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.788,12) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dan Rees erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Artex Painting im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 233.000,00 (€ 187.329,15).
