The work Soleil De Vie by Emile Gilioli was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in London in July 2015. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 8,750.00 (€ 12,404.56), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Emile Gilioli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le Clocher - 1958 in December 2021 with an auction result of EUR 65,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Soleil De Vie von Emile Gilioli wurde im Juli 2015 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 12.404,56) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Emile Gilioli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le Clocher - 1958 im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 65.000,00.
