Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2013 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Man Of No Importance by Huma Bhabha. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 32,500.00 (€ 37,933.32). Admittedly, works by Huma Bhabha have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled in March 2019 with an auction result of USD 200,000.00 (€ 178,126.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2013 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Man Of No Importance von Huma Bhabha zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 32.500,00 (€ 37.933,32) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Huma Bhabha auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 200.000,00 (€ 178.126,11).
