Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Window Washer Glass House by James Rosenquist was sold in the Prints & MultiplesSummer Splash auction at Bonhams in New York in August this year. The price achieved of USD 1,664.00 (€ 1,535.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by James Rosenquist achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Director in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 3,135,000.00 (€ 2,811,911.38).
