Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Moe Blind by Jeff Sonhouse was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,818.83) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jeff Sonhouse achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bubonic Bling in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 162,500.00 (€ 147,472.55).
