Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Urge, from What Party (4 works) by Kaws was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in August this year. The price achieved of USD 480.00 (€ 442.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kaws achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Kimpsons #1) in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 57,877,000.00 (€ 6,615,255.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Urge, from What Party (4 works) von Kaws kam im August diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 480,00 (€ 442,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kaws erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Kimpsons #1) im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 57.877.000,00 (€ 6.615.255,49).
