The work Tropical Calm by Lynne Drexler was worth USD 277,200.00 (€ 268,526.59) to a buyer in November last year. This price was achieved in the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale at Christies in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 80,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Lynne Drexler have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Herbert's Garden in May last year with an auction result of USD 1,500,000.00 (€ 1,397,819.40).

Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lynne Drexler auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Herbert's Garden im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.500.000,00 (€ 1.397.819,40).
