Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Elijah Carried to Heaven, from The Bible by Marc Chagall was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in August last year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 5,100.00 (€ 5,067.06). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marc Chagall achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Amoureux in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 28,453,000.00 (€ 23,914,103.21).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Elijah Carried to Heaven, from The Bible von Marc Chagall kam im August letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 5.100,00 (€ 5.067,06) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marc Chagall erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les Amoureux im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 28.453.000,00 (€ 23.914.103,21).
