Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Nina Bovasso could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in September 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 2,813.00 (€ 2,091.61) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nina Bovasso - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Flowers on a Walk, which sold at auction in 2009 for USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,369.87).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Nina Bovasso konnte im September 2011 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 2.813,00 (€ 2.091,61) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Nina Bovasso mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Flowers on a Walk beobachtet, die im 2009 für USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.369,87) versteigert wurde.
