Auction result well in line with expectations
The work L'atelier de Cannes, frontispiece for Ces peintres nos amis Vol. II by Pablo Picasso was sold in the Prints & MultiplesSummer Splash auction at Bonhams in New York in August this year. It changed hands for a price of USD 3,840.00 (€ 3,542.76) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pablo Picasso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 179,365,000.00 (€ 163,148,080.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit L'atelier de Cannes, frontispiece for Ces peintres nos amis Vol. II von Pablo Picasso wurde im August diesen Jahres in der Auktion Prints & MultiplesSummer Splash bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 3.840,00 (€ 3.542,76) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pablo Picasso erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 179.365.000,00 (€ 163.148.080,77).
