Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Femme au cep de vigne, 4e variante (Woman by the Grapevine, 4th Variation) by Pierre-Auguste Renoir was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in August this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 1,216.00 (€ 1,121.87). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre-Auguste Renoir achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Berthe Morisot et sa fille, Julie Manet in May last year with an auction result of USD 24,435,000.00 (€ 22,770,478.05).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Femme au cep de vigne, 4e variante (Woman by the Grapevine, 4th Variation) von Pierre-Auguste Renoir kam im August diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 1.216,00 (€ 1.121,87) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pierre-Auguste Renoir erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Berthe Morisot et sa fille, Julie Manet im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 24.435.000,00 (€ 22.770.478,05).
