The work Dead Owl by Roni Horn was auctioned at Sothebys in London in March 2019. The result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,410.05) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Roni Horn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Water (The River Thames, For Example) in October 2020 with an auction result of USD 378,000.00 (€ 324,547.09).

Die Arbeit Dead Owl von Roni Horn kam im März 2019 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.410,05) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Roni Horn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Water (The River Thames, For Example) im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 378.000,00 (€ 324.547,09).
