Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Carnival Of Animals (Tyler 105:Sb17-119:Sb31) by Stanley Boxer was sold in the Mid Season Prints auction at Sothebys in New York in September 2007. The price achieved of USD 3,438.00 (€ 2,417.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by Stanley Boxer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lafayette Blush in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 13,750.00 (€ 12,506.82).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.438,00 (€ 2.417,89) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Stanley Boxer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lafayette Blush im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 12.506,82).
