Estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Stadtansicht by Andreas Jawlensky was auctioned at Ketterer in Hamburg in October 2008. Here, the estimate of EUR 1,400.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,464.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andreas Jawlensky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Im Süden in November last year with an auction result of GBP 25,500.00 (€ 29,548.68).
Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Stadtansicht von Andreas Jawlensky kam im Oktober 2008 bei Ketterer in Hamburg zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der Schätzpreis von EUR 1.400,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.464,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Andreas Jawlensky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Im Süden im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.500,00 (€ 29.548,68).
