Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work "Personnage assis" (Variation XI). by Antoni Tàpies was auctioned at VAN HAM in November last year. It achieved a price of EUR 69,960.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antoni Tàpies achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gran ocra amb incisions (Large Ochre with Incisions) in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 1,650,500.00 (€ 2,081,799.44).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit "Personnage assis" (Variation XI). von Antoni Tàpies kam im November letzten Jahres bei VAN HAM zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 69.960,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antoni Tàpies erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Gran ocra amb incisions (Large Ochre with Incisions) im Juli 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.650.500,00 (€ 2.081.799,44).
