However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carlos Almaráz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sunset Beach, 1983, which sold at auction in October 2018 for USD 17,500.00 (€ 15,442.99).

Die Arbeit Echo Park III von Carlos Almaráz kam im Januar diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 5.100,00 (€ 4.697,00) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 70%. Für andere Arbeiten von Carlos Almaráz mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sunset Beach, 1983 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2018 für USD 17.500,00 (€ 15.442,99) versteigert wurde.
