The work The Way by Carmen Herrera was auctioned at Phillips in London in January this year. It achieved a price of GBP 9,450.00 (€ 10,725.90), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 58%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carmen Herrera achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blanco Y Verde in March 2019 with an auction result of USD 2,900,000.00 (€ 2,582,828.64).

Die Arbeit The Way von Carmen Herrera kam im Januar diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 9.450,00 (€ 10.725,90) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 58%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carmen Herrera erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Blanco Y Verde im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.900.000,00 (€ 2.582.828,64).
