Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cracked Bear (Pink) by Daniel Arsham was auctioned at Phillips in London in January 2021. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,386.00 (€ 1,567.37) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Daniel Arsham achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Quartz Eroded Vogue Magazine 101 in November 2019 with an auction result of HKD 2,312,500.00 (€ 268,207.19).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Cracked Bear (Pink) von Daniel Arsham kam im Januar 2021 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.386,00 (€ 1.567,37) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Daniel Arsham erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Quartz Eroded Vogue Magazine 101 im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.312.500,00 (€ 268.207,19).
