Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Donald Judd was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Prints & Multiples auction at Bonhams in May this year. The price achieved of USD 6,375.00 (€ 5,983.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Donald Judd achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in June 2020 with an auction result of USD 9,831,600.00 (€ 8,753,984.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Donald Judd wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Prints & Multiples bei Bonhams versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.375,00 (€ 5.983,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Donald Judd erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 9.831.600,00 (€ 8.753.984,51).
