Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Eduardo Chillida could be acquired at Bonhams in June this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Prints and Multiples auction, the work Galerie Maeght - 5 Livres Gravés changed hands for GBP 409.60 (€ 476.70) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eduardo Chillida achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rumor de Limites No. Vi in June 2006 with an auction result of GBP 2,024,000.00 (€ 2,928,694.26).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Eduardo Chillida konnte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bonhams für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Prints and Multiples wechselte die Arbeit Galerie Maeght - 5 Livres Gravés für GBP 409,60 (€ 476,70) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 500,00 – 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eduardo Chillida erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rumor de Limites No. Vi im Juni 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.024.000,00 (€ 2.928.694,26).
