Upper estimate price exceeded by 60 %.
The work A Slice Of Stone Itself by Helen Frankenthaler was sold in the Prints and Multiples auction at Bonhams in June this year. It achieved a price of GBP 3,200.00 (€ 3,724.25), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 60%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Helen Frankenthaler achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Royal Fireworks in June 2020 with an auction result of USD 7,895,300.00 (€ 7,029,917.19).
