A top price for Jenny Holzer
This artwork by Jenny Holzer achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in May last year. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work Arno Pair sold for USD 1,560,000.00 (€ 1,453,732.18) - well above the upper estimate of USD 600,000.00. This high result makes Arno Pair the most expensive artwork by Jenny Holzer that we have observed at auctions so far.
