This artwork by Joan Miró achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in October 2011. In the Prints & Multiples Including Pablo Picasso, Important Graphic Works auction, the work Barcelona XXXV, from Barcelona Series (M. 40) sold for USD 15,000.00 (€ 10,755.00) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joan Miró achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peinture (Étoile Bleue) in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 23,561,250.00 (€ 29,174,436.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Joan Miró erzielte im Oktober 2011 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Prints & Multiples Including Pablo Picasso, Important Graphic Works wurde die Arbeit Barcelona XXXV, from Barcelona Series (M. 40) für USD 15.000,00 (€ 10.755,00) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joan Miró erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Peinture (Étoile Bleue) im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.561.250,00 (€ 29.174.436,97).
