Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two plates, from Derrière le miroir no. 151-152 (2 works) by Joan Miró was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in August this year. The price achieved of USD 1,152.00 (€ 1,062.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joan Miró achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peinture (Étoile Bleue) in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 23,561,250.00 (€ 29,174,436.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Two plates, from Derrière le miroir no. 151-152 (2 works) von Joan Miró kam im August diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.152,00 (€ 1.062,83) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joan Miró erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Peinture (Étoile Bleue) im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.561.250,00 (€ 29.174.436,97).
