Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November last year VAN HAM held the auction Modern, Post War & Contemporary, which included the work Malerbiene IMME-CHINA. by Jörg Immendorff. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 29,750.00 24% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jörg Immendorff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ende Gut, Alles Gut (All'S Well That Ends Well) in February 2007 with an auction result of GBP 288,000.00 (€ 426,949.66).
