In September 2021 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Prints & Multiples, which included the work The Reception by Jonathan Green. The »bidding war« ended at USD 5,737.50 (€ 4,955.95), 43% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jonathan Green - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Purple Blanket, which sold at auction in March 2021 for USD 13,860.00 (€ 11,802.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 43 % übertroffen
Im September 2021 führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion Prints & Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Reception von Jonathan Green zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 5.737,50 (€ 4.955,95) und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Jonathan Green mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Purple Blanket beobachtet, die im März 2021 für USD 13.860,00 (€ 11.802,78) versteigert wurde.
