Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year Bonhams in London held the auction Prints & Multiples, which included the work Plate 3, Apocalypse by Keith Haring. It changed hands for a price of USD 11,520.00 (€ 10,900.83) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Keith Haring achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 6,537,500.00 (€ 5,818,351.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Prints & Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit Plate 3, Apocalypse von Keith Haring zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 11.520,00 (€ 10.900,83) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Keith Haring erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.537.500,00 (€ 5.818.351,73).
