Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Marino Marini could be acquired at Bonhams in June this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Prints and Multiples auction, the work Cavaliere changed hands for GBP 358.40 (€ 417.12) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marino Marini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'Idea Del Cavaliere in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 7,040,000.00 (€ 5,233,033.52).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Marino Marini konnte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bonhams für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Prints and Multiples wechselte die Arbeit Cavaliere für GBP 358,40 (€ 417,12) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 500,00 – 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marino Marini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'Idea Del Cavaliere im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 7.040.000,00 (€ 5.233.033,52).
