Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lysistrata (6 works) by Pablo Picasso was auctioned at Bonhams in May this year. The price achieved of USD 4,462.50 (€ 4,188.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pablo Picasso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 179,365,000.00 (€ 163,148,080.77).
