Auction result well in line with expectations
In September last year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Prints & Multiples, which included the work Ochre by Richard Diebenkorn. The price achieved of USD 19,125.00 (€ 19,549.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Diebenkorn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Recollections of a Visit to Leningrad in November this year with an auction result of USD 46,410,000.00 (€ 42,546,754.68).
