Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Seated Woman in Armchair, from Seated Woman Series by Richard Diebenkorn was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in September last year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 4,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 4,080.00 (€ 4,170.50). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Diebenkorn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Recollections of a Visit to Leningrad in November this year with an auction result of USD 46,410,000.00 (€ 42,546,754.68).
