Etching and aquatint in colors with collage on Whatman paper, signed in pencil and annotated 'T/Z' (from the lettered edition of 26, there were also 7 artist's proofs in Roman numerals), published by the artist, with the blindstamp of the artist, released by Tyler Graphics, Ltd, Bedford Village, New York, printed by Catherine Mousley, Greenwich, Connecticut, with full margins, framed.

Auction result well in line with expectations
In May this year Bonhams held the auction Modern & Contemporary Prints & Multiples, which included the work Perpetual Summer by Robert Motherwell. The price achieved of USD 5,100.00 (€ 4,786.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Motherwell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work At Five in the Afternoon in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 12,690,000.00 (€ 10,874,035.99).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Prints & Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit Perpetual Summer von Robert Motherwell zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.100,00 (€ 4.786,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Motherwell erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit At Five in the Afternoon im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 12.690.000,00 (€ 10.874.035,99).
